Characteristics

Perennial, non-climbing herb, thinly albo-strigose, 0.3-1.0 m high. Leaves 70-100 mm long. Leaflets 8-15 x 2-3 mm, 7-10-jugate, linear-oblong; upper surface glabrous; lower surface thinly strigose. Stipules 2-4 mm long, triangular. Inflorescence densely 15-20-flowered; peduncles 10-17 mm long, shorter than leaves; bracts up to 1 mm long. Pedicels 6-9 mm long. Flowers 5-7 mm long. Calyx 1-2 mm long. Gynoecium: ovary hairy, 7-ovuled; style bearded nearly halfway ventrally and also around stigma. Flowering time Apr.-July. Pod 30-44 x 8-10 mm, linear, obtuse or acute, mucronate, 4-5x longer than wide, nearly straight, thinly strigose, distantly 7-or 8-seeded.
