Characteristics

Perennial, non-climbing herb, diffuse or ascending; stem, petioles and peduncles thinly strigose or glabrescent. Leaves 25-38 mm long. Leaflets 8-12 x 1 mm, closely 7-9-jugate, linear, complicate with involute margins, appearing terete and furrowed on upper surface, glabrescent. Stipules 3-5 mm long, lanceolate. Inflorescence 8-12-flowered; peduncles 50-76 mm long; bracts up to 3 mm long. Pedicels up to 3 mm long. Flowers 11 mm long. Calyx: segment much shorter than tube and very blunt. Gynoecium: ovary canescent, 15-ovuled. Flowering time all year. Pod 32 x 1416 mm, pubescent, widely oblong, subinflated; central suture straight or concave; dorsal suture arcuate, several-seeded.
