Characteristics

Perennial herb, erect or ascending, up to 0.5 m high. Leaves 68-70 mm long. Leaflets 14-16 x 2 mm, 4-6-jugate, linear-oblong or sublanceolate, obtuse or acute; upper surface glabrous; lower surface strigose. Stipules 2-5 mm long, lanceolate, strigillose on sides. Inflorescence corymbose-racemose near the top, 10-20-flowered; peduncles 45-80 mm long, longer than leaves; bracts 1 mm long. Pedicels 2-3 mm long. Flowers 8-10 mm long. Calyx 1-3 mm long, puberulous. Gynoecium: ovary glabrous, 11-ovuled; style bearded nearly halfway ventrally and also around stigma. Flowering time Jan.-Oct. Pod 18-28 x 8-11 mm, glabrous, inflated, oval-oblong, acute at each end, not very unequal sided.
