Characteristics

Perennial, non-climbing herb, 0.2-0.3 m high. Leaves 50-60 mm long. Leaflets 6-15 x 1-3 mm, laxly 10-12-jugate, linear oblong or obovate, obtuse or retuse, glabrous or thinly strigose beneath. Stipules up to 4 mm long, triangular. Inflorescence laxly racemose, 4-10-flowered; peduncles 10-35 mm long, shorter than leaves; bracts up to 2 mm long. Pedicels 1-2 mm long. Flowers 5-8 mm long. Calyx 2-3 mm long, strigillose. Gynoecium: ovary glabrous, 11-ovuled; style bearded nearly halfway ventrally and also around stigma. Flowering time Sept. Pod 23-26 x 10-11 mm, glabrous, much inflated, membranous, ovoid, substipitate, many-seeded.
