Plants slender, dark green. Stems prostrate, 6-12 mm long. Leaves erect when dry, broadly ovate or oblong, long-acuminate, 0.30-1.25 mm long; margins entire to crenulate; costa extending into acumen. Upper laminal cells oval or rhomboid, smooth; alar cells transversely elongated. Perichaetial leaves convolute, short pointed, costa absent. Capsule erect, cylindrical; endostome membrane low.
