Plants slender, dark green. Stems 5-15 mm long; branches ascending, julaceous. Leaves erect-spreading, imbricate, ovate to lanceolate, 0.75 mm long; costa extending into acumen. Upper laminal cells roundly quadrate, transversely elongated towards margins and base. Perichaetial leaves sheathing, shortly pointed, costa absent. Capsule cylindrical, endostome membrane Vs as high as exostome teeth.
