Pseudobulb conical to subcylindric, up to 7 cm. long, 1.5 cm. in diameter, borne at an angle to the previous year’s pseudobulb, 2–5-leaved.. Leaves lanceolate to ovate or broadly ovate, acute, mostly 6–12 cm. long, 3–6 cm. broad, many-nerved; petiole up to 7 cm. long but mostly shorter, clasping at the base.. Inflorescence up to 15 cm. long, 2-to ± 25-flowered; rhachis bearing 1–several sterile bracts; fertile bracts lanceolate, acuminate, 1–1.5 cm. long, 2–4 mm. wide..
