Characteristics

Pseudobulbs 30–50 × 20–25 mm, dark green, smooth, when young covered with 4 short, leaf-like bracts. Leaves 2, 150–250 × 10–15 mm, dark green, midrib keeled. Racemes 100–200 mm long, with 10–15 prominent, sterile bracts, 7–12-flowered. Flowers 8–13 × 7–10 mm, pale green ageing to yellow. Sepals and petals narrow, recurved. Dorsal sepal 8–10 × 2 mm. Lateral sepals 8–10 × 2 mm. Petals 8–10 × 1 mm. Labellum 7–9 × 3–4 mm, shallowly notched, with 2 green, fused basal calli and 2 parallel, yellow to orange ridges c. 2 mm long.
