Epiphytic caespitose herb with new growths arising from bases of old pseudobulbs.. Pseudobulbs up to 2 cm. long and 7 mm. wide at base, conical-flattened, with 3–4 sheathing leaves, 2–3 larger leaves articulating near the apex.. Sheathing leaves up to 8 mm. long, apices acute; foliage leaves oblong-lanceolate, acute, narrowly sheathing at the base, membranous with crisped margins, up to 3.5 cm. long and 9 mm. wide.. Inflorescence dependent, ± 10–15(–25) cm., ± 5 mm. wide, narrowly 4-winged at base, with 1–3 sterile flowers, becoming 3-winged and wider above, with ± 6–9(–15) normal flowers 8–15 mm. apart; bracts up to 4 mm. long, 1 mm. wide at base, acuminate, each one terminating the wing of the rhachis on that side below it.. Sterile flowers yellowish, with 4 linear perianth-segments ± 12 mm. long and 2 linear segments in centre 2 mm. long.. Pedicel plus ovary of fertile flower 2–3 mm. long, shorter than the bract, green.. Dorsal sepal 5.5–10 mm. long, 1.5 mm. wide, gradually narrowing from the middle to the acuminate apex, brownish yellow.. Lateral sepals 3.5–5 mm. long, 1.6–2.25 mm. wide, reniform with uncinate apices, bright greenish brown.. Petals 8–14 mm. long, 0.75 mm. wide at base, soon narrowing to 0.25 mm. with edges inrolled, apices rounded to acute, brownish yellow.. Lip brownish yellow with green veins, 3.5–5 mm. long, 3 mm. wide, oblong, bilobed at the apex, with a small tooth between the rounded lobes, rather abruptly narrowed at the base, with 3 calli, the median one shorter than the others, and all fused together basally..
