Characteristics

Plants terrestrial, to 100 mm tall; pseudobulbs largely buried in the soil, adjacent, ovoid; leaves 2-3, spreading near the soil surface, broadly ovate, acute, flat, texture firm, 20-47 x 15-45 mm; scape without sheaths. Inflorescences with 7-20 flowers in a lax 30-75 mm long raceme; bracts green, up to as long as the ovaries and clasping them, acute, narrowly lanceolate. Flowers green, small; ovaries 6-15 mm long. Sepals unequal; median sepal reªflexed parallel to the ovary, 4-5 x 1.5 mm, marªgins rolled; lateral sepals oblong, oblique, facing each other, reflexed inwards about midway, 4x2 mm. Petals linear, margins inrolled, spreading downwards, 4 x 1 mm. Lip oblong, somewhat widened in the middle forming obscure side lobes, emarginate, deeply concave with a small conical callus near the base, 4x2 mm. Gynostemium erect, 3 mm tall.
