Liparis collinsii B.Gray

Pseudobulbs 2, ovoid to shortly conical, 60–100 × 15–30 mm, tapered. Leaves 3–6, stalkless, 100–130 × 40–50 mm, thin-textured, dark green with raised purplish veins on the underside, margins wavy, apex sharply pointed. Racemes 150–350 mm long, 6–20-flowered. Flowers 18–23 × 20–25 mm, pale purplish to purplish green. Sepals and petals narrow, widely spreading. Dorsal sepal 12–14 × 3–3.5 mm. Lateral sepals 9–11 × 3–3.5 mm. Petals 9–11 × 1.5 mm. Labellum 10–13 × 8–10 mm, base channelled with 2 short ridges, apex broadly notched, with irregular margins.

Highly localised; found growing in gravelly loam among granite boulders in open areas of rainforest.
