Characteristics

Pseudobulbs usually 2, ovoid, 20–30 × 20–25 mm, 1 old, 1 new. Leaves 2 or 3, ovate, oblong or obovate, 100–250 × 25–40 mm, dark green to yellowish green, thin-textured, with 5 prominent veins. Flower stems stiffly erect, 4-winged, 200–600 mm long, 8–22-flowered. Flowers 10–12 × 5–6 mm, greenish yellow, pinkish, brownish or reddish. Sepals and petals narrow, with recurved margins. Dorsal sepal 8–10 × 2 mm. Lateral sepals 6–8 × 3 mm. Petals 8–10 × 1 mm. Labellum oblong to obovate, 4–5 × 3–4 mm, with 2 rounded basal ridges and a greenish central plate, margins wavy, apex nearly square, notched or with a blunt central point.
