Characteristics

Pseudobulbs laterally compressed and overlapping, 40–70 × 25–40 mm, dark green to yellowish green, when young covered with 2 short, leaf-like bracts. Leaves 2 to 4, 120–300 × 20–30 mm, thin-textured, dark green to yellow-green. Racemes 150–250 mm long, 8–20-flowered. Flowers 13–17 × 8–11 mm, greenish or pale yellow. Sepals and petals narrow, recurved, sometimes curled. Dorsal sepal 8–12 × 1.5–2 mm. Lateral sepals 8–12 × 1.5–2 mm. Petals 8–12 × 1 mm. Labellum trowel-shaped when flattened, 13–16 × 7–9 mm, base channelled, with 2 flat, orange bands, apex truncate with small central point.
