Stamens with short broad filaments; anthers oblong, introrse. Ovary 1-celled; placentae 2, parietal; style very short, stigma 2-lamellate. Fr. fleshy, globose or subglobose, indehiscent. Seeds ∞, minute, suborbicular. A genus of 1 known sp. originally discovered in Tasmania.
