Evergreen shrubs. One-year-old branchlets densely brown pubescent. Leaves alternate; petiole ca. 1 cm, brown pubescent; leaf blade oblong or elliptic-lanceolate, 6-12 × 2.5-4 cm, brown pubescent abaxially, glabrous adaxially, pinninerved, lateral veins 8-12 pairs, transverse veinlets conspicuous abaxially, base broadly cuneate, apex acuminate. Flowers unknown. Fruit oblong, 12-15 × 6-8 mm, seated on shallowly discoid perianth tube; fruiting pedicel ca. 1 cm, slightly thickened at apex. Fr. Aug-Sep.
