Characteristics

Herba glabra, raro pilis paucis in caule inferiore et in margine petiolorum obsita, 30-50 cm alta. Caules simplices vel subramosi, angulati, ± foliosi, superne nudi. Folia indistincte petiolata vel sessilia, oblanceolata usque linearia, 1.5-5 cm longa et 0.2-0.5 mm lata, apice acuto vel obtusiusculo, margine exserte remotius acuteque dentata, interdum pinnatifido-dentata, glabra, rarissime parce pilosa. Flores in racemo corymboso, plus minus denso, interdum brevi terminali vel ± elongato. Pedicelli 6-15 mm longi, glabri, braeteis integris circiter aequilongi vel usque duplo longiores. Hypanthium obconicum, costatum, lobi calycini anguste triangulares, integerrimi, 2-3 mm longi. Corolla 12 mm longa, cyanea, fauce bigibbosa et lutescens, glabra; lobi superiores angusti-spathulati, lobi inferiores obovati, abrupte acuminati. Tubus stamineus 6 mm longus, antherae superne antice pilosae, 2 inferiores apice barbatae. Capsula obconico-oblonga, 8-10 mm longa, infera. Semina ovali-globosa, fusca, 0.6 mm longa.
