Characteristics

Leaves petiolate, up to 5–15 x 5–15 mm., suborbicular to subreniform or upper leaves rarely elliptic, usually acute at the apex, truncate or rarely cuneate at the base, incised–dentate, short pubescent on both sides or rarely subglabrous; venation prominent beneath; petiole up to 6–12 mm. long, pubescent.

Capsule obovoid to obconical, 8–10–nerved, glabrous or short pubescent, with 2 valves ± 1 mm. long, inferior part of capsule 2–2·8 mm. long.
Calyx–lobes very narrowly triangular or subulate, erect or spreading, 1·6–2·4 mm. long, entire, glabrous or short pubescent.
