Inflorescences about as long as leaves; flower clusters or individual flowers distichous; branches whorled, crowded, 2-8 mm long; pedicel of male flowers 1.5-2 mm long. Sepals and petals purple-black. Capsule slightly wrinkled. Seeds orange.
