Much like no. 6 [Lycopus rubellus Moench]; lvs oblong to lance-oblong, 3–10 × 1–3.5 cm, with 4–6 salient teeth on each side, convexly narrowed from the lowest tooth to the sessile, obtuse or rounded base. Coastal plain; e. Mass. to Fla.; also in the mts. of N.C. and at the s. end of Lake Michigan.
