Characteristics

Trees, to ca. 15 m tall. Petiole 4-15 cm, glabrous; petiolules 0.5-1.5 cm; leaflets 3-5, elliptic to slightly obovate, 5-16 × 2-6 cm, subleathery, glabrous, secondary veins 4-7 pairs, base broadly cuneate or rounded, margin entire, minutely thickened, sometimes denticulate apically, apex shortly acuminate. Inflorescence paniculate, glabrous throughout; primary axis 15-30 cm, secondary axes 4-15(-25) cm; peduncle 0.5-2 cm; pedicels 3-5 mm, to 8 mm in fruit. Calyx inconspicuous, 5-toothed. Fruit ovoid to ellipsoid, 5-8 × 4-6 mm, ribbed when dry.
