Fruiting perianth glabrous, dark brown on wing, rarely pale; tube shortly cup-shaped, 1.5 mm high, 2 mm diam., costate, crustaceous; wing simple, horizontal, firm, 5–6 mm diam., rarely wider, with a single radial (radicular) slit, the margin usually recurved; upper perianth flat or concave, obscuring ovary.
