Inflorescence 2–14 cm long, narrowly cylindrical, densely many-flowered; flowers very small, yellow-green, turning buff-orange with age.
Leaves 2–3 at base of stem, the lowermost sheath-like, the others sub-opposite, to 6 × 4 cm, ovate or elliptic, light green, plicate.
Dwarf terrestrial herb 3–15 cm tall; rhizome creeping, but cigar-shaped and tuber-like below the flowering stems.
Lip 1.3–1.8 × 1.5–1.8 mm, obovate, auriculate at the base, with a central pad of hairs; margins smooth.
Dorsal sepal erect, 1.7–2.5 × 1 mm, lanceolate; lateral sepals 1.3–2.2 × 1–1.5 mm, obliquely ovate.
Petals 1.3–2.3 × 0.3–0.6 mm, linear-lanceolate, the margins glandular.
Flowers pale green, turning brown or orange.
Pedicel and ovary 2 mm long.
Column 0.4–0.7 mm long.
Bracts 2–3.5 mm long.
