Cultivation

Origin: in Sumner, Wash., by Buckley Nursery Co., Buckley, Wash. Introd. in 1963. Unknown seedling formerly known as Olsen. Discovered in 1954. Tree: medium size; round; highly productive. Fruit: large; oval; skin ground color golden green, 40% covered by red blush, thin; flesh white, crisp; ripens 1 to 10 Sept.; highly susceptible to bitter pit; recommended for fresh fruit and cooking.
