Origin: in Dana, N.C., by Ben Lytle. Introd. in 1982 by Van Well Nursery, Wenatchee, Wash. Bud mutation of Oregon Spur Red Delicious. Tree: Fruit: in North Carolina is larger than parent and colors earlier, blush-type color; ripens 10 days before parent. No longer propagated.
