Origin: in Morden, Manitoba, Canada, by Canada Dept. Agr., Res. Sta. Introd. in 1930. Anis o.p. Tree: spreading; moderately vigorous; hardy; productive. Fruit: small; skin yellow, heavily blushed, many red stripes, greasy, thin but tough; flesh amber white; very juicy, texture smooth, pleasantly tart; fair to poor quality; season midwinter; used as dessert or sauce; resembles Blushed Calville.
