Origin: from the breeding program at Agr. Canada, Res. Sta., Beaverlodge, Alberta. Introd. in 1976. Heyer 12 × Dr. Bill. Selected in 1960. Tree: vigorous, upright, good branching habit; very winter hardy, hardier than Heyer 12; precocious; heavy annual cropping. Fruit: similar to Heyer 12; large, 65 × 60 mm; ground color green changing to yellow; flesh deep cream color, crisp, juicy, slightly tart; harvest early September; long storage.
