Cultivation

Origin: from the breeding program at Agr. Canada, Res. Sta., Beaverlodge, Alberta. Introd. in 1976. Haralson × Rescue. Selected in 1958. Tree: moderately vigorous, upright-spreading; very hardy; relatively precocious; annual, heavy crops. Fruit: medium-small, 50 mm in diam; green to yellow ground color, almost completely overlaid by a very attractive dark red; flesh cream-colored, crisp, juicy; pleasant flavor good quality, best dessert; harvest late September; excellent keeping ability.
