Cultivation

Crisp, juicy, flavorful with scab resistance. Origin: Cornell University, Geneva, NY, by S. Brown and K. Maloney. Honeycrisp × NY65707-19; crossed 1994 in Geneva, NY; selected 1999; tested as NY94410-56. USPP 30,758; 30 July 2019. Tree: vigor low; ramified; resistant to apple scab and cedar apple rust. Fruit: large, diameter 7.9-8.8 cm; mostly conic; overcolor grayed-red with yellow-green ground color; flesh white, firm, crisp, and juicy; 11.2-15.7 ºBrix; pH 3.3-3.6; ripens early October in Geneva.
