Cultivation

Origin: in Hood River, Ore., by Roy A. Bisbee. Introd. in 1956. USPP 1565; 12 Feb. 1957; assigned to Stark Bros. Nurseries & Orchards Co., Louisiana, Mo. Whole tree variation; discovered in 1953. Tree: Fruit: matures slightly later than Starking Delicious; skin a solid blush, gradually darkening as season progresses but still holding an attractive bright glossy sheen; size same as parent, but tends to be a little longer. Spur type tree.
