Bud mutation of Starking Delicious, discovered in 1964. Tree: spur type, semi-dwarf, upright; vigorous, hardy, productive; susceptible to scab and quince rust; tolerant to fire blight. Fruit: large; conic; skin thick, tough, smooth, glossy, full red, colors early; flesh juicy, satiny white with yellowish tint, flavor mild; ripens 1-2 weeks after Delicious.
