Cultivation

A delicious yellow mango. Origin: India, but later introd. to Florida, Hawaii, and Egypt. Tree: moderately vigorous, forming a dense, rounded canopy. Fruit: medium-sized, green to yellow with bright red blush, roundish, skin smooth, thick, flesh golden-yellow, slightly juicy, fiberless, with a delicious subacid taste, of excellent quality. The monoembryonic seed is in a thick, woody stone covered with short, bristly fiber.
