Mangifera indica 'Vallenato'

A perennial hermaphrodite evergreen tree.

Early midseason mango of good quality. Origin: Colombia. Tree: vigorous with upright, dense canopy. Fruit: bright yellow, with crimson blush, oblong with flattened base, 80–90 mm long by 70–80 mm broad by 60–70 mm thick, weighing 190–340 g skin thick, tough and adherent, flesh firm, juicy with abundant fine fiber (not objectionable), pale yellow, mild and sweet with a strong, pleasant aroma, of good to excellent quality. Seed monoembryonic.
