Leaflets cuneate to broadly cuneate, 1–6 mm long, 1–4 mm wide, glabrous or scaly; outer margin entire or slightly irregular, flat to rounded. Sporocarps solitary or in small groups; stalks 4–6 mm long, very thin, unbranched, glabrous; conceptacles ellipsoidal to obovoid, 3–4 mm long, scaly, distinctly ribbed; upper surface concave; upper basal tooth very prominent, angular; lower basal tooth absent; apex of the stalk forming a prominent, tooth-like protuberance.
