Characteristics

Herbs, erect, 30-40 cm tall or more. Stem and branches glabrous. Petiole ca. 1 cm; leaflet blade broadly obovate-reni­form, 0.9-2 × 1-2.5 cm, lateral veins 4 or 5 on each side of midvein, both surfaces glabrous, base rounded or nearly cor­date, apex truncate or emarginate. Racemes 2.5-3 cm, 2-flow­ered at each node. Pedicel 1-1.5 cm, longer than bracts, grayish yellow pubescent. Calyx ca. 1 mm, 5-lobed. Corolla white; standard obovate, base attenuate; wings falcate; keel incurved, apex obtuse. Filaments ca. 1.5 mm. Ovary stipitate. Legume 2-2.5 cm, pubescent, base stipitate, apex rostrate; fruiting pedicel long, twisted at apex, becoming looped. Seed reniform, ca. 2 mm. Fl. Sep, fr. Sep-Oct.
