Epiphytic shrub up to 30–50 cm. high, often pendulous; roots thick, fleshy.. Leaf-lamina elliptic to ovate-elliptic, 2–4.5(–6.5) cm. long, 1.2–2.8(–3–8) cm. wide, apex emarginate, base cuneate, both surfaces glabrous; midrib and 1–2 pairs of longitudinal nerves slightly raised above, prominent beneath; petiole 1–3 mm. long..
