Characteristics

Environment

Relatively open undisturbed mixed dipterocarp, swamp, coastal, keranga and sub-montane forests up to elevations of 1,400 metres. Often on alluvial sites near rivers and streams, but also common on hillsides and ridges, usually on sandy soils.
