Leaf-lamina ± rhombic-elliptic, 0.8–2 cm. long, 0.6–1 cm. wide, slightly acuminate, apex acute or obtuse, base rather long-cuneate, papillate-muricate on both surfaces; petiole 0.5–1 mm. long.. Inflorescences 1-flowered, axillary; peduncle 1–1.5 mm. long; rhachis 0.5–1 mm. long; pedicel negligible.. Calyx obconical, 1–1.5 mm. long, 1–2.5 mm. in diameter; lobes shallowly deltoid.. Petals 1–2 mm. long, white.. Anthers and filaments 1.5 mm. long.. Fruit ellipsoid, ± 1 cm. long and 0.6 cm. in diameter, ultramarine blue.
