Characteristics

Caules e basi ramosi, 3-10 poll, alti, herbacei, filiformes, glabri vel pilis minutis paucissimis instructi. Foliorum simplicium petioli 2-3 lin. longi; laminae 6-16 lin. longae, 3/4-1 1/2 latae, lineares, acutae, mucronatae, basi leviter angustatae, utrinque pilis appressis bifurcis, iis Indigoferarum, nisi quod crura furcae inaequalia sint, similibus, sparse instructae; stipulae subulatae, 1/2-2 lin. longae. Racemi 1 1/2-3 1/2 poll. longi, filiformes, glabri, floribus 3-7 distantibus parvis instructi; bracteae 3/4 lin. longae, setaceae; pedicelli filiformes, 1 1/2-2 1/2 lin. longi. Calycis tubus 1/2 lin. longus, pilis appressis lateraliter affixis pubescens; dentes 1/2 lin. longi, subulati. Corolla glabra, rubra; vexillum 1 3/4 lin. longum, 1 1/2 lin. latum, lata obovatum, obtusissimum; alae 2 1/4 lin. longae, fere 1 lin. latae, cuneato-obovatae, obtusissimae vel subtruncatae; carina 2 lin. longa, recta, acuminata. Legumen 4-5 1/2 lin. longum, 3/4 lin. latum, lineare, 4-6-spermum.
