Capitula in terminal and upper axillary racemes or panicles with glandular axes, disciform; stalks of individual capitula 4–14 mm long; involucre obconic, 5–7.5 mm long; bracts of calyculus 2–3, lanceolate, 2 mm long, ciliate; phyllaries 7–8, linear-oblong, 4.4–7.5 mm long, acute and short-hairy at the apex, otherwise glabrous to puberulous..
