Leaves ovate, 4–9 cm long, 2.8–6 cm wide, base subcordate, margins entire or sparsely denticulate near the base, apex acuminate, glabrous or sometimes floccose above when young; palmately 5–7-veined from the base; petioles 2.5–4 cm long.. Capitula in terminal and upper axillary racemes or panicles with glandular axes, disciform; stalks of individual capitula 4–14 mm long; involucre obconic, 5–7.5 mm long; bracts of calyculus 2–3, lanceolate, 2 mm long, ciliate; phyllaries 7–8, linear-oblong, 4.4–7.5 mm long, acute and short-hairy at the apex, otherwise glabrous to puberulous.. Florets 8–12, the outer female, the inner hermaphrodite; corolla white, 4.5–7.5 mm long, lobes 0.4–1.2 mm long; style arms slightly narrowed towards apex, tip truncate or rounded..
