Diffuse to compact, herbaceous perennials to 20 cm high, with few to many prostrate stems arising from a single rootstock. Stems to 0.9 mm across; young branchlets striate; striae crenate. Leaves narrowly obovate to obovate, narrowly elliptic to broadly elliptic or rarely ovate, (2.3–) 6–12 mm long, 1–3 mm wide, flat, with margins entire and slightly recurved, apex acute, smooth adaxially; stipules 0.2–0.5 mm long. Inflorescences sessile. Male flowers: calyx lobes narrowly ovate or ovate-elliptic, 1.1–1.6 mm long; petals ovate to broadly ovate, 0.8–1.2 mm long, apex acute; staminal filaments 0.6–1 mm long; connective tissue 0.2 mm long; rudimentary ovary absent. Female flowers: calyx lobes narrowly ovate to ovate, 1.2–1.5 mm long; petals absent; styles 1–1.3 mm long, 2-lobed; lobes four-fifths the length of the style. Fruit ovoid, 1.5–1.9 mm diam., ±rugose distally. Seeds obloid.
Grows in woodland communities dominated by Casuarina and Banksia, Banksia ilicifolia, Melaleuca, or Eucalyptus marginata and Casuarina fraseriana. Soils white to black peaty sands or clayey sands.
