Characteristics

Foliage leaf basal, often trailing. Stem bearing multiple cormlets at nodes, (1)3-to 10-branched, usually from upper nodes, bearing attenuate sheathing leaves 35-60 mm long. Rhipidial spathes somewhat inflated, attenuate with dry, brown tips; inner 50-80 mm long. Flowers with outer tepals 23-38 x (10-)14-16 mm, inner tepals 22-32 mm long. Filaments 6-7 mm long; anthers 4.5-6.0 mm long, usually ± as long as style branches, or longer.
