Characteristics

Flowers pale-yellow with deeper yellow nectar guides on the outer tepals; outer tepals to 25 mm long, lanceolate, claw about 10 mm long, limb 15 mm long, slightly reflexed; inner tepals 15–20 mm long, lanceolate, erect.

Foliage leaf solitary, longer than the stem, c. 3 mm wide, linear, channelled; sheathing leaves 3(4), imbricate, green, 5–8 cm long.
Rhipidium single, terminal; spathes green with a dry apex, the inner 5–8 cm long, the outer slightly shorter than the inner.
Ovary c. 14 mm long, oblong, exserted; style branches 8–9 mm long, crests about 4–8 mm long.
Filaments 4 mm long, united in the lower two-thirds, anthers c. 6 mm long.
Corms to 10 mm in diameter; tunics of fine pale straw-coloured fibres.
Cataphylls brown, usually irregularly broken.
Stem erect, unbranched.
