Plants 350-450 mm high. Corm 15-18 mm diam., bearing numerous pale cormlets at base; tunics brown, initially unbroken, breaking from below into sections, ultimately becoming fibrous. Stem branching well above ground, flexed above insertion of second leaf, 2-to 4-branched. Leaves 3, lowermost basal, suberect to ± falcate, terete but with narrow adaxial groove, exceeding stem, other leaves inserted well above ground, shorter than basal, channelled, up to 4 mm wide. Rhipidial spathes green with brown tips, truncate to acute, inner 35-40 mm long, slightly shorter or longer than outer, diverging in upper half. Flowers fugaceous, pale yellow, outer tepal limbs with darker yellow nectar guides at bases; outer tepals ± 35 mm long, claw ± 15 mm long, ascending, limb spreading to slightly reflexed; inner tepals ± 25 x 4 mm, spreading when fully expanded. Filaments 6-8 mm long, united in lower ± 1 mm (or evidently free), diverging above; anthers ± 6 mm long; pollen yellow. Ovary ± 7 mm long, club-shaped; style branches 10-12 x ± 3 mm, crests prominent ± 10 mm long. Capsules and seeds unknown.
