Plants 150-300 mm high. Corm 8-12 mm diam.; tunics of pale, coarse fibres. Stem simple or 1-branched, with 3 aerial internodes, sheathing leaves 30-40 mm long, with dry, attenuate apices. Foliage leaf solitary, basal, erect, channelled, exceeding stem, often dry near apex, ± 2 mm wide. Rhipidial spathes attenuate, apices dry and brown, inner 45-55 mm long, outer ± 1/2 as long. Flowers long-lived, white, outer tepal limbs with white nectar guides ringed in dark blue near bases, with faint, dark blue radiating veins, half reflexed, margins undulate; outer tepals 23-30 mm long, limbs 11-14 x 11-16 mm, claws 12-16 mm long, suberect, slightly longer than limbs; inner tepals 13-15 mm long, linear, < 1 mm wide, erect, curving inward toward apex. Filaments 12-15 mm long, united in lower 1/2-2/3; anthers 3-4 mm long, dark blue-purple; pollen red. Ovary ± cylindric, 8-10 mm long, entirely or partly enclosed; style branches ± 10 mm long, crests ± 5 mm long. Capsules and seeds unknown.
