Involucral bracts glabrous; outer bracts few, small; inner bracts in 1 row. Receptacle pitted, without scales or hairs. Corolla ligulate, yellow. Style branches filiform, yellow. Achenes dark, usually 5, flattened, ribbed, beaked; pappus bristles in 2 rows, white, > achene, simple, free at base, the outer row < inner row.
