Leaves sessile; blade basally narrowly obovate, up to 20 x 4 mm, apex obtuse, decurrent, base attenuate, upper surface scabrid, lower surface almost glabrous. Flowers: in scorpioid cymes; calyx 1-nerved; corolla ± 2-3 mm long, blue, fornices yellow; Dec.-Mar.
Softly hairy, often trailing annual to 40 cm, hairs adpressed, long, white. Leaves lanceolate or obovate, sessile or petiolate. Flowers in lax, helicoid cymes elongating in fruit, light blue with yellow centre, fading white, calyx open in fruit. Nutlets compressed-ovoid with a rim, dull brown.
