Characteristics

Plants with 5-20 mm long stems; leaves sometimes few or absent at flowering time, lorate, obscurely unequally bilobed, lobes obtuse to acute, 20-50 x 5-10 mm. Inflorescences with several racemes of 2-10 densely aggregated flowers, 20-40 mm long; sheaths several, 2 mm long; bracts tubular, truncate, 1-2 mm long; pedicels 10 (-15) mm long. Flowers white, 10-15 mm in diameter. Sepals subequal, acute; median arched over the gynostemium, narrowly oblong, acute, 8-8.5 x 4 mm; laterals narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, suboblique, 10 x 4 mm. Petals ovate, acute, erect, 8-8.5 x 4 mm. Lip 3-lobed; midlobe sharply deflexed, triangular, acute, 4-5 x 3.5 mm; side lobes porrect, 1.5 mm tall, margins faintly serrate; spur 18-25 mm long, base widely funnel-shaped, 3 mm in diameter, tapering to an acute apex. Gynostemium 2 mm tall.
