Characteristics

Plants epiphytic with 10-25 mm long stems; leaves imbricate, blades ligulate, conduplicate at the base, flat at the apex, unequally bilobed with the lobes rounded to obtuse, 40-120 x 10-22 mm. Inflorescences of several racemes, each 70-180 mm long and with 7-13 laxly arranged flowers; sheaths several; bracts broadly ovate, acute, 3-5 mm long, tubular; pedicels 10-20 mm long. Flowers white, 25-30 mm in diameter. Sepals sub-equal, reflexed, linear-lanceolate, acute; median (7-) 11-14 x 3.5-4 mm; laterals suboblique, (7-) 13-17 x 3-4 mm. Petals reflexed, linear-lanceolate, acute, (6-) 9-13 x 3-3.5 mm. Lip 3-lobed, linear-lanceolate, acute, (7-) 10-15 x 3-4 mm; midlobe with apical margins upcurved; side lobes porrect, reflexed, with dentate front margins; spur tapering from a base which is 3-3.5 mm in diameter to an acute apex, 35-60 mm long. Gynostemium 2 mm tall. Capsules 14-18 x 7-8 mm, ellipsoid.
