Characteristics

Plants with stems 10-15 mm long; leaves lorate to lorate-oblanceolate to elliptic, unequally bilobed with the lobe-apices acute, conduplicate at the base and apically flat, 15-45 x 6-10 mm, often poorly developed and occasionally absent. Inflorescences of several racemes, each 20-50 mm long and with 4-10 flowers; sheaths several, to 3 mm long; bracts tubular, 1-2 mm long; pedicels 10-14 mm long. Flowers white, sweet-scented, 15 mm in diameter. Sepals subequal, reflexed to spreading, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, acute; median 7-8 x 2.5-3 mm; laterals 8-9 x 2-3 mm. Petals reflexed, linear-lanceolate, oblique, acute, 6-8 x 1.2-2 mm. Lip 3-lobed; midlobe sharply deflexed, narrowly triangular, acute, 6 x 1.5-2 mm; side lobes porrect, 1.5 mm tall, flanking the gynostemium, front margins reflexed and slightly lobed; spur tapering from a base which is 2 mm in diameter to an acute apex, 20-45 mm long. Gynostemium 1.5 mm tall. Capsules 10-12 x 6 mm.
