Characteristics

Roughly and glandular-hairy annual, up to 300 mm tall, foetid, branching above and from below. Leaves bipinnatisect, 10-20 mm long, hairy and glandular. Flowerheads terminal, solitary on naked peduncles, discoid, yellow, 8-15 mm diam., corolla lobes attenuate; involucral bracts narrow, needle-like. Cypselas white, ribbed, with myxogenic. Hairs in the grooves between; pappus crown-like.
